Owners Jeff and Walt Emmott have been with the company since 1973 and 1975, respectively. With a combined 68 years of experience with Patina Metals, they have designed and crafted much of Houston's exquisite custom ironwork. Jeff started his career in custom fabrication as an installer, and within a few years he and his brother Walt, an apprentice fabricator, purchased the company from the original owners. Jeff and Walt attribute Patina's longevity to their passion for ironwork- "It is only through a burning desire to design and handcraft the finest custom ironwork available that we have stood the test of time. Vice President of Operations, Luis Towns is a Mechanical and Structural Engineer with a specialty in Auto Cad and is an expert in the manufacture and design of Spiral Staircases. He has over 15 years experience as a fabricator with a background in designing fitness equipment for Fitness International.

Senior Manager for production, , has been with Patina for 15 years. "Everything that comes out of my shop has to be stamped with a quality seal of approval. That means no compromises- only quality"
Master Draftsman, Juan Gutierrez, claims the longest time with the company, having joined in the sixties, with 41 years at Patina Metals. "We excel in both contemporary, traditional, and antique designs. We can custom design any ironwork whose function is as perfect as its form."
General Manager, Eve Diaz, started with Patina in '99 after relocating from New York where she served 10 years as general manager for America's oldest inn, Beekman Arms. Additionally, she spent 20 years as a general supervisor for New York's utility company, Consolidated Edison. "I order all of our raw materials and am amazed by our craftsmen's abilities to transform raw iron into works of art."
Field Installation Superintendent, Blake Emmott, has been around custom iron fabrication his entire life. After several summer internships with Patina Metals while attending college, he is excited to continue the proud tradition established by his father and uncle, Walt Sr. and Jeff Emmott.
